A three-piece belt joined with stainless steel loops and gunmetal hardware.

It's cut from thick 12 oz vegetable-tanned English bridle leather, hot-stuffed with oils and waxes to take years of wear, and closes with a raw cast stainless steel buckle. Made in our studio in Chelsea, Quebec, at the foot of King Mountain on the edge of Gatineau Park.

Measure a belt you already own, from the fold at the buckle to the hole you use most, in inches. Order that number. Every belt comes in sizes 26 to 44.

Jean waist sizes in inches (30, 32 and so on) line up with belt sizes. Numbered women's sizes (2, 4, 6 and so on) do not, so if that is how you shop, measure a belt instead.

Keep it dry: if it gets wet, wipe it off and let it air-dry away from direct heat. Wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth now and then, and condition it with a natural leather balm once or twice a year. Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun. Leather care guide
