Leather and steel, woven together by hand. The CHOLO is a 45 mm cuff of vegetable-tanned leather threaded through solid stainless steel loops that are welded closed. It fastens on a non-corrosive brass snap.

Cuffs have been part of JMB since the beginning, and the CHOLO is made the same way: by a small team in our studio in Chelsea, Quebec, at the foot of King Mountain on the edge of Gatineau Park. The leather mellows and darkens as you wear it while the steel stays bright, so the contrast grows with the years. Two sizes: small–medium fits a 17–18 cm wrist, large–X-large a 19.5–21 cm wrist.

Keep it dry: if it gets wet, wipe it off and let it air-dry away from direct heat. Wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth now and then, and condition it with a natural leather balm once or twice a year. Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun. Leather care guide
